Mise en Plage
The summer started well in Knokke-Heist. This Belgian coastal city was the venue for the first edition of Mise en Plage which took place from 21 to 23 June. During this event guests could enjoy the best the region has to offer in the culinary field.
During 3 days, Mise en Plage offered its guests a culinary adventure. In other words, one could taste the finest dishes prepared by top chefs and the tastiest local produce. The unique beach location was also the scene for masterclasses, wine tastings and workshops. Afterwards the evenings were rounded off with live music.
Knokke-Heist beach is the dream location for a culinary tasting event such as Mise and Plage. Especially for this occasion, the focus was on atmosphere and setting. Domes Europe was approached to build its largest custom Dome Tent in the arsenal, the Big Buck. With almost 2,000 m² of floor space, a height of 15 meters and room for 1,375 dining guests, the Big Buck fitted in perfectly with the impressive concept.
