Mise en Plage

The summer started well in Knokke-Heist. It was the venue for the first edition of Mise en Plage which took place from 21 to 23 June. On the beach, guests could enjoy the best that the coastal city and surrounding region has to offer in the culinary field.

During 3 days, Mise en Plage offered the guests a culinary adventure. One could taste the finest dishes prepared by top chefs and the tastiest local produce. The unique location was also the scene for masterclasses, wine tastings and workshops. The evenings were rounded off with live music.

Knokke-Heist beach is the dream location for a culinary tasting event such as Mise and Plage. Especially for this occasion, the focus was on atmosphere and setting. Domes Europe was approached to build its largest tent in the arsenal, the Big Buck. With almost 2,000 m² of floor space, a height of 15 meters and room for 1,375 dining guests, the Big Buck fitted in perfectly with the impressive concept.
