Lichtpuntjes
For the action week “Lichtpuntjes tegen kanker” (light spots against cancer) we supplied various Domes on behalf of the Flemish radio television broadcaster. During the action week, a mobile TV studio was made on 5 evenings in our completely transparent ø6 meter Dome. In this mobile studio, the VRT went through Flanders in search of heartwarming stories from big and small points of light. The studio became a warm meeting place for fellow sufferers and their loved ones.
During the closing moment of Lichtpuntjes tegen kanker, the VRT and Kom op tegen Kanker (stand up against cancer) lit 24,826 lanterns as a sign of hope, support and comfort. This sea of bright spots on De Schorre in Boom thus formed ‘The Greatest Light Point against Cancer’.
A completely transparent ø 9 meter Dome formed the focal point of this beautiful ceremony.
