In 2005, Domes Europe BV was established by Rutger Jansen and Johan Ziems. In that year the company started the production, distribution and sale of Domes. The Domes are manufactured in the Netherlands and then shipped around the world to be used for various projects.

De Kruijf Tents started in 1989 and has a wide range of tents for different purposes .At the end of 2009, Domes Europe BV is taken over by The Kruijf tents, but still kept the name and own identity. Domes Europe is working with DomeGuys, Domes Europe provides the European side of the ocean and Dome Guys the side of American.
