University of Twente
Project for University of Twente as part of the 50-year lustrum of the university. Domes Europe was asked for a special lustrum event “Experiment in the Forest”. For this project 14 domes were built varying in size.
PlayStation Move Experience 2011
This winter Domes Europe cared for the accommodation for the PlayStation Move Experience 2011 in some the most popular winter sports regions in France.
The tour visited Tinges, La Plange, Val Thorens and Les Menuires. Each location had two show days after which, at night, the domes were broken down and transported to the next location.
For this tour three domes were installed. Two Domes of 6 meters in diameter and a large dome of 14 meters in diameter. The Domes were linked together.
Christmas Iceskating Dordrecht 2010
The annual Christmas ice rink in Dordrecht last winter was built on a system floorsupplied by Domes Europe. The rink was in the heart of Dordrecht and construction of the floor was a precision job because of terrain height and a large statue . The rink was then constructed on top the system floor.
Besides the ice rink two domes were built. The visitors had a nice view of the rink thanks to the bayview. The Domes served as bar/restaurant.
Festivak Antwerp
Using a bright orange cover, Domes Europe will be a prominent exhibitor at the 2010 Festivak.
Press introduction Opel Ampera
The launch of Opel’s first electric car was kept in a modern futuristic Dome in a green environment. Our client De Vries & Partners has chosen the beautiful natural estate Marienweerd in Beesd.
Domes Europe provides the location of ramps, walkways and floor system and a 14 m. Dome. The Dome is equipped with a bayview so that visitors can look at the Ampera in which they can make a test drive.
Orange Babies Gala
For the annual of the “Orange Babies Gala”, Domes Europe build the 30m. Dome for the very first time. On the NDSM grounds the completely darkened Dome was connected to the building of MTV Networks.
After receiving the guests at the MTV building, the visitors enjoyed a 360° video projection during dinner at the Dome. After dinner there was an auction held on behalf of Orange Babies. This auction raised € 400,000 -.
Start production 30-meter Dome
Domes Europe adds a 30m. Dome to the range. The drawings and calculations are done and the production can begin. The structure is currently being produced and is awaiting a white powder coating. The sailmaker has PVC fabric lying ready to start cutting.
Sporza World Cup summer
Commissioned by VRT Belgium Domes Europe builds a TV studio at the VRT transmitter site. A 14m. dome serves as a temporary TV studio where each match of the World Cup in Africa was discussed. Numerous wellknown people from the sports and television world will give their view on the matches. The programm will be directed from a 7.5m. Dome. Domes Europe will equip the 14 m. Dome with an air conditioning system. Despite all the lighting and the warm weather a pleasant climate will be created inside the Dome.
Open days Domes Europe en De Kruijf Tenten
On the private location adjacent to the business location of The Kruijf Tenten and Domes Europe both companies present themselves and their rental stock. Under the title “Everything Under One Roof”, visitors can gain an impression of the range of both companies. On the grounds were nostalgic theater tents and domes lined up, and it is precisely this contrast that enhanced the perception of the various tents.
Domes Europe takes care of wedding
